• Snapping a very long chalk line

Multi Tools In One: I'm glad I tried the EZRip. It has and still is proving to be a valuable tool along side my drywall stripper. Every drywaller should have both these tools to help their production level.

EZ Rip Drywall Cutting Tool: It worked very well on making horizontal cuts on sheetrock. I was pleased with how it worked since I was using 12 foot lenghts of sheetrock.
Super Light Weight: Excellent tool for cutting up to 2 ft wide strips of drywall. Great product super light weight.
Works for Me!!! Great Product!!!: I am continually buying tools to speed up the process of hanging drywall and found this tool almost too good to be true. If you are serious about hanging drywall this tool is a wise investment. I especially like the fact that you can adjust the measurement setting so quickly and get down to business. I've used the tool now for over 4 months and do not have any operational complaints. However, I though that the packaging the tool came in was somewhat misleading because it suggested that you didn't need a utility knife. While the tool does make the long rip cut easy; you still have to finish your cut by snapping the section of drywall away from the cut you made with the tool and then use a utility knife to score along the crease on the back !!
While helping a friend finish a basement remodel a trial use of “EZRip” confirmed product name was synonymous with simplicity. I would best describe this tool as a Multi-Tool for dry wall use. Multi-Tool thereby effectively combining three tools in simple and useful design.

When I saw this tool I wanted to give it a try, I do drywall on a regular basis, so I thought this tool might work, although I was a little hessitant because of the price, I thought it was a bit, pricey, well I ordered the tool, didn't know what to expect, it looks a little flimsy but it's pretty sturdy, I know some people would say that all you need to rip drywall is your measuring tape & knife, but this tool does what it's suppossed to do & does it fast & clean, this actually saved me some time in my last drywall project, a 20 X 20 garage with 10' walls...if you can cut drywall using your measuring tape & knife you probably don't need this tool, although this is much easier than doing it that way...try it you won't be dissapointed.
