Makes Drywall and Plasterboard Scoring Easy!
The
EZRip makes scoring drywall and plasterboard extremely
simple, and gives you the most precise measurement possible in the shortest amount
of time. No more using your thumb as a guide or snapping a very long chalk line;
because EZRip conveniently combines measuring, marking,
and scoring into one quick and easy operation with additional storage for 10 blades.
How
EZRip Works With EZRip you either select the scale that corresponds to
the amount of wallboard you wish to cut (keep); or you select the scale that corresponds
to amount of wallboard that you wish to leave. |
|
Directions
Choose any one of EZRips measuring scales. Depress the locking button and
move the adjustable block to the selected setting. Once the meausurement has been
set, EZRip can be quickly drawn across the wallboard panel for a clean, accurate
cut. After the scoring operation is complete, break the panel by hand, and cut
through the back of the paper with your utility knife. For best results, always
cut wallboard to fit loose.

Model (imperial) - inches The USA model of EZRip is engineered for super-fast
horizontal and vertical cutting of drywall panels. Choose from four scales allowing
you to cut 4, 8 and 12 panels. Choose the 8 scale to cut
drywall between 72 to 96; or choose the 12 scale to cut drywall
between 120 to 144. Need to make a small rip? EZRip can make rips
as small as 2.375. For best results when making very small rips, score both
sides of the drywall to ensure a clean even break. Cut drywall less then your
measurement between 1/8" to 1/4. Metric
Model - millimeters The metric model of EZRip is engineered for super-fast
horizontal cutting of 1200 mm wide plasterboard panels. Choose from two scales
allowing you to cut plasterboard as small as 60 mm. For best results when making
very small rips, score both sides of the plasterboard to ensure a
clean even break. Cut plasterboard less then your measurement between 3 to 6 mm. |

Use
EZRip instead of your t-square for cutting partial wallboard sheets While
the EZRip has been specifically engineered to make the long rip cut
of 48 (1200 mm) wide wallboard panels, it can also save you time when cutting
the length of partial wallboard sheets. As illustrated below, use EZRip instead
of your drywall t-square for removing up to 24 (600 mm) of wallboard. |
